So the next morning I grabbed my pack and rolled straight out. 3 hours later I arrived at the Beaches of Picarras. One of my old areas. I got a cheap hotel room and set out on foot to revisit some people. It was super hot though and I was getting all burned up so i had to wear a long sleeve shirt! I saw a few old members and went to a family night with a few. The ward here has grown a ton! All that work that seemed so meaningless paid off today. I found out that Caio, a young man that was baptized, went on a mission, came home from that mission, and baptized his whole family. Everythings changed so much since I was here. There have been two floods, and so many other things happen here. I've got the refrigerator door propped open with the AC and fan on hi so hopefully it cools down!
